Citizens Advice is a membership network of over 300 local offices working together as one service.
To remain a member of the network, each local office has to pass an annual ‘Leadership Self-Assessment’, a quality mark that ensures that the organisation is being properly run and it’s delivering the best possible advice to its clients.
Citizens Advice County Durham was assessed earlier this year and I’m delighted to announce that we achieved 5 out of 5 for all the required standards, which means we are ranked ‘excellent’.
This is really something we are proud of and we couldn’t have achieved top marks without the dedication and expertise of all of our volunteers and staff.
We won’t be complacent though, we will continue to strive to improve to ensure we provide the best possible advice services to our clients.
