Are you looking for a new challenge for 2023?
Would you like to help people living across Teesdale?
Come along to an informal session at Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services (UTASS) on Thursday 15th December at 10am, where we will provide an insight into this opportunity.
Together with Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services, Citizens Advice County Durham is looking for people who are willing to use their time, to help others, as part of a new team of Volunteer Advisors.
The new partnership is aimed to help people who live and work in Upper Teesdale have access to the support they need. We’re looking for volunteers from a range of backgrounds to support local people with their issues including housing, benefits, and employment.
Volunteers are asked to contribute 6 hours per week and once trained, will offer advice to residents in person.
No experience is necessary and full training is provided, from January onwards.
If you’re interested in attending please contact UTASS on 01833 641010 or email info@utass.org
