One of our staff visited Woodhorn Museum in Ashington during the holidays. It’s a pit museum showing the history of coal mining. Interestingly, there was an exhibition in the 1980’s showing families difficulties during the miners strikes. Although times change, can you spot how many issues we are still presented with today?
